[VIDEO] Anthony Ausgang, "The Pawnee Republican"

We met artist and author Anthony Ausgang at his home studio in Los Angeles to discuss his latest novel The Pawnee Republican: A Skirtchaser in Slacktown and his foray into writing amid a successful career in painting.

Ausgang is an artist principally associated with the Lowbrow (art movement), and was one of "the first major wave of lowbrow artists" to show in Los Angeles in the early 1980s. His first novel was The Sleep of Puss Titter.
