Lalo Alcaraz is a prolific cartoonist and satirist in Chicano culture, perhaps best known for his nationally syndicated comic strip La Cucaracha. In this recent interview, Alcaraz talks about the rerelease of his acclaimed historical graphic novel A Most Imperfect Union, his role in Seth MacFarlane’s upcoming animated TV series Bordertown, and his passion and exhaustion surrounding politics.
