Dan Fante is an American author, poet, and playwright. He is the son of acclaimed novelist John Fante and author of the novels 86'd, Chump Change, and Mooch; the short story collection, Short Dog; two books of poetry; the plays The Boiler Room and Don Giovanni, and a memoir.

Here he discusses his most recent novel, Point Doom.
